Deadline for Assignment 1: 4:00pm Thursday 17th November 2011
Two hard copies and two CDs containing assignment code and documentation; One with your surname AND you Cadidate Number; Second just with your Candidate Number, but not a surname have to be submitted to the Informatics school office (Chichester 1 room 010) by the specified deadline.
The submission of this assignment comprises a print out of at least the class files Glossary.java, Lexicon.java, Term.java and WordDistance.java as well as a print out of a test. This test can be similar to the one in the assignment specification page (I run this test specifying 5 alternative words when obtaining similar words but you can specify any number you want).
The assignment will be peer assessed. In order to maintain anonymity please include your registration number (and the day of the week and time of your lab. session group) but not your name on the first page of each one of your two copies.
Finally, if you implemented any of the extensions, you have to explicitly mention this also within the comments at the top of Glossary.java.
