There will be a Genetic Algorithm exercise as coursework, to hand in by Nov 5th (see below). There will also be an exercise following on from the robot lab classes in week 4. You will get feedback on these.

The assessment for the course is based on a programming project (of your choice, subject to agreement that it is suitable) plus a 3,500 word essay, to be handed in by 12:00 on Monday 12th Jan 2004. For your guidance, some project ideas are suggested in a link below, and the official guidelines for what is assessed in marking these projects is also given.
